The electrical installation is one of the most critical elements of any new build project. It must be planned carefully against the architectural drawings, coordinated with structural and mechanical trades, and executed to a standard that will pass inspection and serve the occupants reliably for decades. Delays or defects in the electrical work can hold up the entire build programme, so builders and developers need an electrical contractor who is organised, technically sound, and communicates clearly throughout the project.

JR Electrical Services provides new build electrical contracting for individual self-build homes, small residential developments, apartment conversions, and commercial new builds across Epsom, Kingston, Surrey, London, and Ewell. We engage at the planning stage to review drawings, identify any technical queries, and produce a programme that integrates with the wider build schedule. On site, we manage both first fix and second fix phases, coordinating our attendance around the activities of other trades to keep the project moving.

We install all electrical work to current BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations and Building Regulations requirements, including Part P compliance for domestic work. On completion of each unit or building, we carry out comprehensive testing and produce Electrical Installation Certificates covering the full installation scope. All work is notified to Building Control, giving developers the documentation they need for handover and for Building Control sign-off. We can also liaise directly with warranty providers such as NHBC where required.
